Kimberly Neuhaus

AIA, LEED AP BD+C, Certified Passive House Designer

Kim has a B.A. in urban studies from Columbia University and a M. Arch from the University of Pennsylvania. She founded NDA in 1998 after working in NYC for Baxt Associates Architects (now Baxt/Ingui) and for Buttrick, White, Burtis. She is a member of AIA Brooklyn and the founder of its Custom Residential Architects Network (CRAN). She lives in Brooklyn with her children.

Marilyn Encalada

Marilyn has a B.Arch from the New York Institute of Technology. Her previous experience includes large scale mixed-use projects as well as residential design. She was born and raised in New York City and currently resides in Brooklyn.

Ana has both a B.S. in Architecture and a M.Arch from Temple University. Her previous experience includes residential projects up and down the East Coast. Born and raised in the Philly suburbs she is an avid Philadelphia sports fan. She currently resides in Brooklyn.

Avery Lakeman

Avery is from Alberta, Canada. She has an undergraduate degree in Environmental Design, and a Masters degree in Architecture both from UC Berkeley where she played NCAA soccer. Avery enjoys bike-packing, snowboarding, and spending time in the Rocky Mountains of Canada. Alongside of architecture, she has experience in urban planning and woodworking.

Bandit

While Bandit is no longer with us, he was a beloved member of the NDA team for 13 years. Bandit had no credentials beyond his NYC dog license. Bandit was adopted from the Brooklyn Animal Care Center in 2008. He liked to spend his days at the office sleeping under desks.
