We believe that architecture is by nature a collaborative process, bringing the client’s needs and desires together with the architect’s vision and knowledge and the builder’s experience and craftsmanship to realize something new and wonderful.
NDA has designed everything from furniture and light fixtures to offices and homes. The majority of our work involves the restoration and re-use of existing structures within Brownstone Brooklyn. We are well versed in the intricacies of Landmarks Preservation Commission and Department of Building submissions and approvals. We have an interest in, and commitment to, sustainable design. Our firm is a member of the U.S. Green Building Council and primary firm members are certified Passive House Designers as well as LEED AP BD+C.
